Cockroach Control Preparation

These instructions MUST be completed prior to our technician’s arrival for treatment.

We will need complete cooperation from each unit to ensure successful treatment for all infested units.

Before we arrive

Please be ready to vacate for 4 hours. If there are children under the age of 2, pregnant women, or any persons with upper respiratory medical conditions, these individuals will need to be out of the building for 8 hours. All pets must be removed from the home during the treatment and away for 4 hours. Fishbowls and aquariums may remain but must be covered properly with a towel and the filters turned off.

What is used?

Products are selected based on conditions and pests present within the structure. You will see an immediate reduction of pests and on-going improvement as cockroach life cycles become disrupted. Our products take 10-14 days on average for complete control of pests including egg cycles. Please be aware the technician may adjust the treatment based on the inspection and pests present.

Interior preparation

• Empty all kitchen cabinets and drawers. Place items on the dining room table and cover with a clean sheet. DO NOT put items on kitchen countertops.

• Remove ALL items from cabinets and drawers in the bathrooms, including toothbrushes, shampoos, and soaps around the tub area. Place these items inside a plastic bag and set them in the bathtub or shower area.

• Clean cabinets and drawers BEFORE treatment. Degrease and sanitize cabinets, countertops, drawers, stove, refrigerator, and other appliances BEFORE treatment.

• Clear out the bottom of all closets. If cockroaches have been found on the upper closet shelf, clear out the closet completely.

• Empty and clean your linen closet completely.

• Move all items that will hinder access to the baseboards, cracks, and crevices, where walls meet floors, door jambs, window frames, and other harborage areas.

After treatment

• DO NOT use any other chemicals or pest control products. This may interfere with the materials applied by Major League Pest.

• DO NOT wipe down treated areas. It may remove material intended to provide ongoing control for cockroaches.
