The Major League Difference

Carmel Valley residents choose Major League Pest because our trained and state licensed technicians skillfully inspect and recommend the best pest management program for your property. Our low-impact pest management solutions provide you with the most effective treatments in and around your home.

Why Choose a Pest Control professional?

Your satisfaction is our number one priority. Remove the stress of having to store and apply pesticides inside your home by using a responsible professional you can trust! Misapplication of chemicals can re-route pest activity by causing the formation of new nests and potentially contaminating your environment. Our extermination professionals are trained to identify pest threats and treat the areas of your home most susceptible to pest activity. Major League Pest has the technology and training needed to not only treat pest symptoms but rectify pest problems at their source.

Save Money With Guaranteed Services

Over-the-counter products do not last long and therefore must be applied weekly or bi-weekly, forcing you to spend more for the same treatment. The products we use are much more effective and consistent than over-the-counter products. When homeowners do the math, they quickly realize that after purchasing the products and the time they spend applying them, they could have had a professional take care of the problem for the same or less amount of money.

Pest Control Service

After your initial service, you will notice an immediate impact on the pest infestation levels around your home. Adults will be flushed out and levels will be reduced. Life cycles of many insects revolve around a 30 day time period. Adolescents will hatch and you may still see insects between the initial service and the first regular service until control is achieved.

The first regular service will begin approximately one month after the initial service. Regular pest control services will break the life cycle of the insects around your Carmel Valley home and help to prevent future invasions. Beginning a regular service program 30 days after the initial service is a key factor to a successful service plan and keeping your home pest-free.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We want you to have peace of mind knowing your service is fully backed with a promise of quality. If you experience pest problems after a regular service treatment, Major League Pest will return and retreat your home for free. When you partner with Major League Pest you can stop worrying about pests infiltrating your home.

I knew my home was up for a termite inspection and started doing my homework by getting quotes. Hands down Major League Pest provided me with the best quote and customer service. Very honest and trustworthy. I highly recommend you give them a call. Satisfied customer here.

I don’t think it’s possible to live in Southern California and *not* be inundated by ants every now and then. We had a pretty persistent problem for about 6 weeks before we finally called Major League Pest. We kept trying to fight them on our own. Such a waste of time and effort. They’d leave for a few days and then reappear even worse than before. I HATE them. Major shout out to CHRIS SAVING who came out and put the fear of God into those little suckers. He left tons of bait for them and sprayed inside the cupboards, along the baseboards, and the entire exterior of the house. It has been one week since Chris treated our home and we’ve not seen one ant. That’s as good as it gets. I’m so grateful to Chris. Thank you!

Very honest and responsive company! I had some roof rats that were giving me grief and my concern was that if the rats are getting into the attic and chewing stuff. They were also so loud that would wake us up. Mike Ortega their experienced technician showed up fairly quickly within a few days of me contacting the company. He was very thorough and inspected my attic. He also took pictures for me of where the openings were. All this inspection was free. They certainly got my business in the future for all the pest control needs!

Like many others out there we are having pest control issues with spiders and other fun insects that enjoy the backyard as much as we do.

Mike Ortega with Major League Pest came out to walk the property and inspect the grounds and vegetation for trouble spots. He provided some ideas as to what they can do and what to be aware of with water features in the yard to help manage pests in the area.

At the end he provided a written estimate / quote on the spot along with answering any additional concerns or questions we had noting we had a small dog on the property. He was very professional and represented the organization very well.

As a note we also reached out to other pest control companies in the area. I gave each of them feedback around their pricing and services along with if we were going to go with them or not and why. One of their competitors who has a very high rating and review count on Yelp appreciated the feedback and shared they felt we were in good hands with Major League Pest and they respected the work they do and the organization they built. I appreciated that feedback and found that to be what healthy and respectful competition was about. I thanked them for their comments and felt even better about our decision to go with Major League Pest. You know if one of the largest and most well known service providers in the area says Major League is a good, respected organization you know they have earned the respect of their peers and their clients.

I plan to update this review down the road as well but so far its been a great experience.

I contacted these guys and man were they on the ball. Great customer service, update, and follow-up. After contacting them, Rick showed up two days later and on-time, Rick even called to give me a heads up and advised he was on his way.

Rick was knowledgeable and honest. I already knew what I wanted, a whole house tent. Prior to contacting MajorLeague Pest, another company was doing spot treatments for my house and it was not working. I kept finding more and more termites.

I basically told Rick my findings of termite and he recommended tenting, rather than spot treating. Which was correct and probably to only way to get rid of my termite problems. Since tenting was all new to me, Rick spent the extra time to explain and walk me through the process. Excellent customer service on his part!

Major League Pest also helped expedite my tenting, so the job was scheduled within 2-3 weeks and completed as scheduled. No headaches at all. Also, their price was very fair and reasonable.

Keep up the great work MajorLeague and Rick is an A+++ to the team. I’m glad I got them and Rick.

Ants move indoors in search of food and water often due to changes in weather patterns. Our year-round ant service program eliminates your current ant problem and prevents future ant outbreaks. We treat both the inside and outside of your Carmel Valley home, ensuring total control of argentine, odorous, and pavement ants. Cockroach Extermination

German and Oriental cockroaches commonly enter Carmel Valley homes and commercial kitchens through cracks, cardboard boxes, electronics, furniture, produce, and public sewer systems. In apartments, condominiums, and townhomes, cockroaches travel through walls infesting rooms as they spread. Cockroaches are scavengers that have evolved to survive on any form of waste available. These pests prefer starchy foods, cereals, sugar products, cheese, grease, and meat but will also consume cardboard, glue, leather, and hair. Roaches form colonies in areas unseen around kitchens and bathrooms. No matter how a cockroach gains entrance to your home, the infestation must be stopped immediately. Cockroaches pose a health concern because they breed and live in and around food preparation areas. Cockroach droppings can cause asthma and as well as spread disease, which is why it is very important to treat infestations immediately. Depending on the severity of the infestation, we use a variety of methods to offer complete control. Your technician will suggest treatment options that provide year-round protection, using the most effective and environmentally-conscious cockroach control solutions.

Rodent Control & Removal

Rats and mice come inside searching for food or shelter from the outdoors. Rodent infestations are very common in north county San Diego homes near large open spaces or newly built homes. Rodents are destructive, disease vectors that should be removed as soon as you begin to notice signs of an infestation. They will chew through wires, insulation, boxes, drywall, and a variety of everyday household items to build their nests in attics, garage spaces, and sheds. Rats and mice are prolific breeders with a gestation period of only a few weeks. If you believe you have a rodent problem, call us today.

Spider Control

Carmel Valley is host to hundreds of species of spiders and most are harmless to humans. There are two species to watch out for; Black Widow and Brown Widow spiders. These bites can cause temporary paralysis and are especially dangerous for small children, the elderly, and pets. Children under 2 will need emergency care if bitten. If you’re seeing erratic webs close to the ground around your home, call us for an inspection of your property.

Termite Inspection & Treatment

It’s 10 times more likely that your home will be damaged by termites than by fires or floods! Drywood and Subterranean termites are very common in San Diego county but each species infests structures differently. Drywood termites nest directly in wood. They are frequently found in attics, roof eaves, decks, patio covers, and just about any lumber in the home. Subterranean termites live in underground colonies that can be 15-30 feet below ground and up to 100 feet away from a structure. They are typically found in crawl spaces, garages, patios, and around the foundation of homes. They tunnel through the ground by building unique mud tubes to gain access to food (your home) and to protect themselves, but they must travel back to the soil to retrieve moisture for survival. If you're seeing evidence of termite activity, call us for a free termite inspection.
